Destined Rivals is the tenth standard set from the Scarlet & Violet series, released on May 30, 2025 in the United States. Single Destined Rivals booster packs on TCGPlayer cost $15.76 each. All standard sets include booster boxes, which today are selling for $282.07. If you break these down per pack, a Destined Rivals booster box will get you booster packs for around $7.84 each. Sealed booster boxes are less likely to be manipulated, so many consider them a safer purchase.
Elite Trainer Box Price and Price Per Booster Pack
There is only one normal version of the Elite Trainer Box (ETB) in Destined Rivals that features Giovanni's Mewtwo and is selling for $124.01. The Giovanni's Mewtwo ETB has 9 packs inside, which calculates to $13.78 per pack.
Pokémon Center Exclusive Elite Trainer Box Price and Price Per Booster Pack
There is only one Pokémon Center exclusive version of the Elite Trainer Box (ETB) in Destined Rivals that features Giovanni's Mewtwo and is selling for $865.00. The Giovanni's Mewtwo Pokémon Center exclusive ETB has 11 packs inside, which calculates to $78.64 per pack. Pokémon Center exclusive ETBs often feature extra packs and an additional stamped version of the exlusive card that often sells for a higher price.
Booster Bundle Price and Price Per Booster Pack
The Pokémon Company International did not produce booster bundles for Destined Rivals. The first set to include booster bundles was Lost Origin.
Build & Battle (Prerelease) Prices and Price Per Booster Pack
All standard Pokémon English TCG sets since Fates Collide have included a Build & Battle box. Before the main products release, retailers and shop owners have an opportunity to hold pre-release events. Each player attending receives a Build & Battle box as part of the event entrance fee. There are different sets; each set contains a special stamped card that anchors the theme.
Build and Battle boxes are another way to purchase packs as shops and the resale market offer them at different price points. There is no known market price for a Build & Battle box for Destined Rivals.
What is the Destined Rivals Card Trick?
When opening Destined Rivals packs, you put 1 card from the back to the front. You hold the cards with the back logo facing you. You peel 1 card off from the cards closest to you and put them to the back. When you flip the cards over to reveal the front, you should see an energy card if you did this correctly. The rare card should be in the back.
